The expected timeframe for the application process is 8 months. The initial stage of document collection can vary depending on the applicant’s ability to gather the necessary documents. Our team guides this process with samples and best practice advice. The reviewal stage is subject to the respective government schedule and can be impacted by factors which we, as authorised agents have no control over. We collaborates with the government throughout the entire process, and we aim to provide the quickest and smoothest experience for the applicant.
The applicant signs a contract with us. We verify that the applicant has at least one year of experience in a managerial, executive, or specialised knowledge role and ensure both the applicant and company meet ICT requirements.
A suitable Canadian business structure is selected, such as a subsidiary, branch office, or affiliate. The business is registered, permits obtained, and a Canadian bank account is opened.
The applicant develops a detailed business plan outlining the Canadian branch’s objectives, market strategy, and the critical role of the transferred employee in ensuring business success.
We assist in gathering all required documentation, including proof of employment, the business plan, and evidence of the qualifying relationship between the parent company and the Canadian entity.
The ICT work permit application is submitted online or at a Visa Application Centre (VAC). We actively track and monitor the application status throughout the processing period.
Once the work permit is issued, we review it for accuracy. The applicant then arranges travel to Canada, complies with all permit conditions, and begins operations at the Canadian branch.
Canadian ICT residency primarily grants you the right to live and work in Canada.
